Preparation for Roach Extermination - Cockroach Treatment
First, stop using store bought roach sprays a week or two before you call me because the odor in these can contaminate the non-repellant cockroach spray and roach baits that I use, and make my Wichita pest control treatment less effective.
Also clean bathroom and kitchen areas before roach treatment because you won’t want to use any chemical cleaners around my spray and baits for a few weeks while it is working to remove all roaches.
Remove outlet covers in kitchen and bathroom and especially the ones behind stove and fridge.
Preparation for Wasp and Hornet Extermination - Wasp/Hornet Treatment
Do not attempt to remove nests yourself, it will help if we can treat them while most of them are all in it.
Try to eliminate fallen fruit and refuse which will attract wasps.
Sealing holes and other potential sites may help prevent nesting.
Once a nest is established do not seal the hole until after treating and there is no more activity.
Generally, there is no need to vacate the premises; however, it is advisable to avoid the immediate vicinity of the nest for at least 24 hours.
We will need to treat nest at dusk or shortly after as this will reduce the chance of stings due to the lack of activity by the wasps and hornets at this time.
Preparation for Box Elder Extermination - Box Elder Treatment
If there is a lot of clutter leaning against house it would help to move things away from where box elders are present because we will treat outside walls and foundation lines.
Seal cracks and opening where they might be able to come inside.
Once inside it is best to not squish them as they can leave a mess on curtains, but rather vacuum them up.
Please note we recommend either the general treatment or the perimeter treatment for control of these pests.
